WE NEED HELP THE JUNIORS!

 Hello, tomorrow will be a trial run for TCS role play, I hope everyone is prepared. I am not sure if I am too. But let's try our best! Although it is not a real play, but let's do our best and prepare for next Monday!

I may understand the role play may have affected our SMM progress, but I hope we can try and start update our Facebook Page asap! There are too many likes, but our page have no progress since it first day! 1 more like till it reach 200!
I have already told Yun Hao to email the marketing executive for what promotion can she give us to promote or something. If not, we have to think of our own and maybe even sponsor them some to keep our Facebook page going!

Hello everyone, I am sure everyone heard what Ms Dora Chua has said to us today except Yun Hao. We are lacking of enthusiasm, confidence for this project. To be frankly, I am a person who need team mates to support me to work out together in order to get a project done. If a few of my team mates didn't participate, I will feel a bit discourage, hence unable to move on and bring our team forward to the next stage. 

Basically, I just need all of you, to participate more, suggest more, sharing your opinion out to each other when we meet. 

Furthermore, we are still in the same team for TCS and IDiscover. Let's just get over with it and finish off these 3 modules with A alright? 

Don't give up on us, peoples!

A long shot for backup

After the partially successful shot with stall number 6 (Satay Power) at Satay Club (Lau Pa Sat/St, I decided that perhaps working with a stall owner that is unable to be able to collaborate effectively may be a little risky, albeit his eagerness in collaboration (After agreeing on a time to meet him and bringing the other group members to meet him, he abruptly changed the meeting time). I decided to hunt for a backup, and contacted Universal Studios Singapore (Despite its name, its actually a large part of Resort World Sentosa). Other than a reply that they are channeling my query into the appropriate buisness unit who will be contacting me directly, I have yet to receive any response from them yet. Speaking of replies, my first try (which I guess would be naught) with SuperInternet nearly a month ago has not given me any response yet.

Got chance!!

Well...As we went as a group to Lau Pat Sat near Raffles Place today to ask for collaboration with the Satay Club Number6 (which apparently was a fail, though I will not spare any longer details), thus our group began our desperate search for collaborating companies, and indeed we found a few (God...it's about time!). First was Square Buns Junior,   

as for others... lazy to story-tell more. The companies contact details and location are as such listed below:

Okays... Onwards with the story. So I dialled the phone number and it got through. Miss Bevy, the operating manager of the company took up the call and thus, a short dialogue ensued. After stating my purpose and my idea of proposing a collaboration with the company, she shown interest but was unable to promise me a definite answer. Apparently, she could only get back to me fastest by next Wednesday which is 09/11 because her director is currently overseas and she would have to wait until then to affirm our proposal. So wish us best of luck!! *Cross Fingers*

No response

On 31 October 2011, Monday, I sent an email to The Soup Spoon requesting for collaboration. However, I have yet to receive any reply from them. I believe they are uninterested in our project. Therefore, I sent out emails to other companies on 3 and 4 November 2011 to Takopachi and Cedele respectively. Until now, none of the companies replied me.

Guess what? I received an email reply from Print Company today. The operation manager, Ms Hanna told me that she was still not sure whether if she was interested in our request and want to know more about this project. I discussed with my team members and we had decided to hold on to this email since we are waiting for other companies to reply us.

This was the reply from Print Company.

I hope we won't hold on to this email for too long. Anyone of you have any suggestions or got a reply from any company, please let me know by next week. Hope next week we can complete finding one company for our project.

My group and I went together to Lau Pat Sat near Raffles Place today to ask for collaboration with the Satay Club Number6. I don’t know whether is it we lucky or unlucky because we waited that person for nearly 1 hour. Some of us were disappointed. The lucky thing was after that we decided to go together as a team to search for other companies and some company did respond to us.

Print was one of the companies that we found. This company sell gift boxes, cards, etc. We asked and took a name card from them.

Here we go~~

I managed to strike out a deal with a stall owner at Satay Club, but he wasn't able to meet up with us when I told the rest of the group about the stall and brought them down to meet the stall owner. Going to give it another go in about a week. Perhaps we would get a better chance then?
